Applying to Lab
Online applications for the 2018/19 school year will be accepted beginning on Monday January 8, 2018.
The 2018/19 lottery will take place on Wednesday March 21, 2018 at 5:00 pm at Charlotte Lab School (301 East 9th Street, Charlotte, NC 28202).
Lottery Results will be posted on the school website by Thursday March 22, 2018 at 11:59 pm.

PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to accommodate any requests for tours outside of our scheduled Open House events. We will host tours during the school day for families admitted through the school lottery in the Spring.
Socioeconomic Diversity Admissions Preference
Beginning in the 2017-2018 application period, we will give priority admissions to students who live in economically disadvantaged households. Students may qualify for this preference if someone in their household participates in a federal assistance program OR if the total annual household income meets the Income Eligibility Guidelines established by the National School Lunch Program. Families interested in receiving this preference should indicate their desire on the general application.

2017/18 Lottery Information
The lottery for the 2017/18 school year is now closed; however, you may still apply and your application will be added to the bottom of the waitlist. We do not anticipate admitting any additional students this school year.
