Dara grew up in Harrisonburg Virginia where she received a Bachelor's degree in International Affairs with a concentration in Latin American and Legal Spanish at James Madision University. Throughout undergraduate school, she lived abroad several times in Mexico to volunteer in orphanages, work on community projects, teach English, and to learn Spanish. Her adventures abroad allowed her to discover her passion for children, culture and languages. After undergraduate school she moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2015 to explore several opportunities of employment. After serving as a teachers assistant, she developed a passion in Education and began to pursue her Master's degree in Spanish Education at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2017. While attending graduate classes, Dara has been teaching and tutoring toddlers and kids through 12th grade full-time in Spanish. Dara also enjoys playing and coaching soccer, traveling, fitness, baking and her family!
