Michaela Moseley is originally from the Greater Philadelphia area. Go Birds! There, she earned her BA from Temple University. After college she moved to Charlotte, North Carolina to pursue her career in high school education. Since moving to Charlotte, she has obtained her Master of Education from Johns Hopkins University. She is now entering her 5th year teaching and is eager for it to begin at Charlotte Lab School. She believes that having an education is one of the most powerful things to obtain, therefore, she takes pride in her ability to foster an environment for students to learn, explore, and create.
Family and friends are important to Michaela! She loves sharing laughs, deep conversations, and food with her loved ones. She is an avid reader who will often get lost in a novel. She loves reading almost as much as she loves reality television or television dramas on rainy days. In addition, she enjoys going to the gym. Long runs are her jam, but will often find herself running to the candle section of a Homegoods. A goal of hers is to one day retire along the beach or in Seattle.
