Natalie grew up in South Carolina, but after graduating from the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in Early Childhood Education, she moved to New York City to pursue working in urban education. After falling in love with the city, teaching 3rd grade for a few years in Brooklyn, and graduating with a M.A. in Teaching and Learning, she decided to make the move back south to be closer to friends and family.
In her free time, you can catch Natalie exploring the city, enjoying live-music events, or hiking the Carolina’s with her fiancé and brown pitbull-lab, Miles. She loves to cook, enjoying the creative freedom it enables, and the discovery of new recipes along the way! Most of all, she is passionate about community and showing love for it in the way she knows best- teaching.
