Latoya Pousa

Latoya (she/her), originally from the Bronx, New York, relocated to Charlotte in her youth and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Social Work degree. She has over 10 years of experience working in public, charter, and private school settings as a teacher, administrator, school support personnel, and consultant. When asked to talk about her “why,” Latoya will passionately describe her commitment to equity, justice, and ensuring that students feel represented, validated, challenged, and celebrated. Among her many roles, Latoya is also a mother of a Lab student, doula, and writer.
