Jaime Asack

Jaime is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana. She has a love for all things Cajun and Mardi Gras. She has her bachelor's degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from East Carolina University where she played collegiate volleyball. She also has her master's degree from North Carolina Central University in Communication Disorders. 
 
She has been the Speech Language Pathologist at Charlotte Lab since their founding year. Prior to coming to Charlotte Lab, she worked in the public school system and an outpatient clinic. 
 
She holds certification in American Speech-Language and Hearing Association and a North Carolina Licensure for Speech Language Pathologists. 
 
She is trained in Augmentative Communication: Beyond Requesting, S.O.S. approach to feeding, PROMPT trained (PROMPTS for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets, LIPS trained (Lindamood Phonemic Sequencing Program for Reading and Spelling), Visualize and Verbalize, DIR Floortime Method, Orton Gillingham and Natural Language Acquisition trained clinician ( gestalt language processors).
 
She specializes in Autism Spectrum Disorder, Reading/Auditory Comprehension, Receptive/Expressive Language Disorders, Articulation Disorders, Phonemic Awareness and Gestalt Language Processors (natural language acquisition). 
 
Jaime and her husband Zachary are the parents of three beautiful children. Chase, who attends Charlotte Lab, Charleigh, and Blake. In her spare time, she enjoys spending every minute with her husband, children, and two dogs.
