Maria Briceno is from Caracas Venezuela. She has been a teacher for over 15 years from kindergarten ages all over to elementary school. She graduated from Universidad Catolica Andres Bello and she also did her Master in Art Education and Kids Literature at Madrid and Barcelona in Spain.She has had the privilege to plan and create different school projects like art fairs, school field trips and book fairs back at her home Country. In 2018 she and her family arrived in the United States so she can teach Spanish at Union County Public Schools, through the International Organization of Participate Learning.
She is a passionate teacher that loves being in the classroom creating a fun and engaging environment for her students to learn, get motivated and build a sense of community . She likes to work with the parents and she is super excited to start this year at Charlotte Lab.
While she is not teaching she is probably hiking, kayaking or going to any new places with her son and husband who are their partners in all her adventures!
