Jen Albright
Teacher - ELA/Quest (5)

As the daughter of an Army officer, Jen spent her childhood moving around the country, living in a total of 13 different places. After finishing high school in Northern Virginia, Jen attended the University of Virginia, where she earned her BA and Master’s in Teaching.
Jen started her teaching career in Northern Virginia where she taught in both the public and independent school setting, and coached Cross-Country. She then moved to Hawaii where she taught and coached at Punahou School in Honolulu. Jen moved to Charlotte to work for Girls on the Run International as the curriculum specialist. In this role, she wrote the curriculum for both the Girls on the Run and Heart & Sole programs. Immediately prior to teaching at Charlotte Lab, Jen taught 5th grade Language Arts and Social Studies and coached Cross-Country and Lacrosse at Charlotte Country Day School.
In her free time, Jen is an avid runner, and enjoys baking, reading, and spending time outside.
