Shawnte Word

Hi my name is Shawnte Word-Marciano and I am a native of Southern California. I began my teaching career in 1998 and have been blessed to serve students and families in the public, private and charter settings. I possess a BA in Political Science and Economics; an MA in Legal Studies and International Relations, and I received my initial teaching certification from Texas A&M University.  I did my post baccalaureates at University of Kansas School of Journalism and Eastfield School of Culinary.  I am currently completing an M.A.T. from UNCC in addition to seeking a PhD in Education Law and Policy. My hobbies are reading novels, cooking, and hanging out at the beach.
