FOUNDER'S MESSAGE

We created Lab to reimagine what’s possible in public education. As long-time K-12 teachers and administrators, we knew there was a better way to approach school -- a way that puts the needs of students (vs. the ‘system’) at the center, a way that lets teachers be the kind of teachers they always thought they could be, a way that proves ALL kids should be known, have opportunities to find and develop their passion, and can be successful.
 
So we created Lab, and The Lab Way. It’s our lives’ work and our passion.

Parenting Playbook Workshop is February 18. RSVP today!

We are pleased to invite families to attend a free event as part of our Lab Parenting Playbook series. This program is best for families with children starting kindergarten or still adjusting to early elementary education (K-2nd graders). This event is open to families interested in learning about Lab and current Lab families!
MLK 2026 Service Project

Martin Luther King Jr. Service Project

Lab will kick-off the annual Kindness Service Project in honor of Dr. King. We are asking families for product donations to share kindness kits and for help assembling these kits. The kits will be distributed to shelters in the Charlotte community. Donation collection date is extended to 2/12.
