Junior and Senior Family Meeting - January 31, 2024
 

Location: Charlotte Lab School, Middle/Upper World Language Area

6pm- 7pm: 11th grade students and families will learn about the college application process for next year and what you can do to prepare this school year. We will also walk through some of the steps in the Junior College Application checklist.

7pm - 7:45pm: 11th and 12th grade students and families are invited to attend the “How to Pay for College” Workshop with Timeka Ruffin, a representative from the College Foundation of North Carolina (CFNC). This presentation will address applying for financial aid, student loans, and available scholarships.  For 12th grade students, Ms. Ruffin will be available to support families on the spot with completing the FAFSA (financial aid) application which is now open for the 24-25 school year.
