Please see below information for the onsite before + after school programs for the 2025-26 school year. We are excited to provide multiple options for our students and families. Registration for Steam Chasers and The Superlative Club is available now!
After School Care
STEAM Chasers
Steam Chasers is a new option for 2025-26 onsite at Lab! This K-8 STEAM based program will center on project based learning and academics, with a focus on STEAM; this will include visits from STEAM organizations onsite and some field trips. This program will start on the first day of school and operate each day from dismissal until 6pm. There are monthly and drop-in rates for this program. The Superlative Club
The Superlative Club will continue to host after school care onsite at Lab each day from dismissal until 6pm. This program will start on the first day of school. This year, TSC will offer enrichment based care options for students in grades K-8 and a daily photography club option for students in 9-12. There are monthly and drop-in rates for this program. Freedom Lab
Hosted onsite at Lab by Freedom Within Walls, this program is funded by a 21st CCLC grant, therefore Charlotte Lab School and Freedom Within Walls will determine which families can most benefit from this program and we will reach out directly to those families on an invite only basis. This program will begin in late September.
Before School Care
Before School care by The Superlative Club will continue to be hosted onsite at Lab. Hours are 6:30am- 8:00am. Registration link
