♟️ Chess Club +Tournaments ♟️

ALL students who attend charlotte lab 1st-12th are exposed to chess. With 1st-4th taking chess once a week as a class and middle school and high school taking it for a semester.  
 
CHESSKID Teacher work day Tournaments
During teacher workdays or school holidays students will be able to join chess tournaments on the chesskid platform. To join a tournament on chesskid all you have to do is 
1. Login to chesskid
2. Click on play vs kid and on the right hand side you should be able to see the tournaments I have added for this week. 
3.Students should be able to join the tournaments starting at 11:30am and 1:30pm

Middle School Chess Championship 3/28 is CANCELED - New Date to be announced.
For the second year in a row Charlotte Lab is hosting the PAC Championship. This is the Middle school championship for chess in our sports conference. Last year Charlotte Lab came in 2nd place behind ACE academy and this year we are looking to win first place. Students who are in grades 3-8th Grade are eligible to participate in this event. You must send me an email if you are interested in joining this event. 
 

 

 
 
Spring City Championship at Trinity Episcopal School April 18th!
In the fall Charlotte Lab received first place for the City Championship and we are hoping to have a clean sweep by winning the spring edition also. This event is open to students who are in K-5th grade.
