Attention 8th Grade Families - High School Parent Night is 6/5: Please mark your calendars for Wednesday, June 5th, 2024 at 6pm. We will be having an informational parent night in the (2nd floor) World Language area. We will be discussing topics like: High School promotion requirements, graduation requirements, transcript information, etc. We will also discuss a few updates for next year’s courses and schedules. Please plan to join this informative, in person event! Rising 9th graders will complete their course preference selection this week + next week. This information is needed from every student in order to create actual schedules for students. If students do not attend the registration session and select their course preferences for next year, they will have their courses selected for them. Please reach out to Ms. Lindsay Dewalt (ldewalt@charlottelabschool.org) with any questions.

---------------REMINDERS------------------

Chess: Represent Lab in an upcoming chess tournament! Open to ANY Lab chess player, Chess Team, or chess students. See tournament details for age/grade/level requirements.

School Lunch reminder: Plastic utensils are available only to students who are purchasing school lunch on that day. We do not stock enough utensils to distribute them to other students. Please pack a spoon/fork in your student's lunch if they need one. Thank you for your understanding!

Celebrations and Shouts: Please click here to read news and updates on campus-wide celebrations and shout outs!

School Operations updates: Please click here to read news and updates on technology, school nutrition, and arrival/dismissal.

Lost & Found: Please come to the lobby or send your child to the front office to claim their lost & found items. Unclaimed items will be donated after the last day of school. Please remember to write your child's full name in their clothing and lunch bags, water bottles. We are doing our best to reunite items with students!
Volunteer HERE to help with the lost and found maintenance!

Early Dismissal: Please do not call in advance for your child to be waiting at the front for early dismissal.  This leads to missed instructional time, and an additional burden on our front office. Early dismissal ends at 2:30pm. Please bring an photo ID if you are checking a student out for early dismissal.

Uniform Reminders:  Although we understand that students want to be comfortable, t-shirts, jeans, and leggings are not included in our uniform guidelines. Please check in with your student to make sure that they are in dress code each day.

Food delivery: Deliveries to students by services like DoorDash, Uber Eats or PostMates is not permitted. If your student forgets to pack lunch, they may purchase school lunch or a parent/guardian may deliver it to the front office.

Schoology: You should have received your Parent Access Code and instructions for logging in to Schoology. Please contact your student’s advisor if you have any questions OR if you do not receive an email.
