The Mecklenburg County Office of Violence Prevention and Park & Rec want to share a wonderful opportunity for youth in your network to participate in an upcoming Violence Prevention Summit for youth ages 13-18. This event is designed to equip young people with valuable tools and insights to help prevent violence in their communities and beyond. The Peace-Builders Youth Summit will focus on empowering young people to take personal responsibility in creating a culture of peace, both locally and globally. The summit will provide a platform for participants to explore solutions to violence and develop skills for positive change. This summit will feature a keynote speaker, breakout sessions, and interactive activities. The summit encourages youth to reflect on their roles in cultivating peace and provided actionable strategies for taking ownership in building a more peaceful world.

Registrations spots are limited, so we encourage early registration to secure a spot for interested youth. We’d greatly appreciate it if you could share this opportunity with the families of students that you work with or any groups you think might benefit from attending.
