The Mecklenburg County Office of Violence Prevention and Park & Rec want to share a wonderful opportunity for youth in your network to participate in an upcoming Violence Prevention Summit for youth ages 13-18. This event is designed to equip young people with valuable tools and insights to help prevent violence in their communities and beyond. The Peace-Builders Youth Summit will focus on empowering young people to take personal responsibility in creating a culture of peace, both locally and globally. The summit will provide a platform for participants to explore solutions to violence and develop skills for positive change. This summit will feature a keynote speaker, breakout sessions, and interactive activities. The summit encourages youth to reflect on their roles in cultivating peace and provided actionable strategies for taking ownership in building a more peaceful world. Registrations spots are limited, so we encourage early registration to secure a spot for interested youth.
