Charlotte Lab School logo

Dear Lab Families:

Due to the approaching snow storm, we are writing to inform you that Friday, January 10th, 2025 will be a REMOTE LEARNING DAY for all Charlotte Lab School students and staff.

There will be no on-site instruction, no before or after school programming, and our offices will be closed.

What this means:

There will be no synchronous instruction (no zoom meetings)

  • K-4th: Students may come home with assignments; additional work for students will be posted on SeeSaw by 10am tomorrow. If you are unsure how to login to SeeSaw, please contact your student’s advisor.
  • 5th Grade: Students will come home this afternoon with necessary learning materials; if you have questions, please reach out to your child’s advisor.
  • 6th-12th Grades: Students should bring their school issued chromebooks home per our usual procedures. Assignments will be posted on Schoology, by 10am tomorrow. Additionally students can use this time to complete missing assignments as all work for the 2nd quarter/1st semester is due by 1/17. Edgenuity will be running, so students should continue to work on their online courses as expected each day.
  • All before and after school programs are cancelled on Friday, January 10th.
  • There will be no staff onsite, however you can reach our staff via email during regular school hours (8:15am to 3:15pm).

Depending on the severity of the storm, we will continue to keep you posted if we need to make any adjustments for next week.

Afterschool programs and athletics will proceed as usual today, Thursday, Jan 9.

If you have any questions, please contact your student’s Advisor or School Lead:

K-2, Mary Royall Wright
