We are so excited for the Class of 2024 - Lab’s first Graduating Class! In order to have a celebratory year, please note the schedule of activities that we have planned for our Lab seniors and upcoming deadlines!
Cap & Gown
It is very important to order your student’s cap and gown for our graduation. Please order your student’s cap and gown from Jostens by November 1, 2023.

The Charlotte Lab School Commencement Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) Halton Theater. More information will be sent to families this winter.
Senior Fee
The Senior Fee will cover many activities planned for our senior class, including:
- Yard sign (fall) distributed to Senior Families later this fall!
- Class T-shirt (spring)
- Halfway party (1/25/24)
- Commitment day (5/4/24)
- Senior Shift (5/23/24)
To make these events possible, the Senior Fee is $60 and can be paid here by January 31, 2023. No students will be excluded from senior events due to their ability to pay the senior fee, therefore we have made options available to sponsor students and a sliding fee for students who qualify for Free/Reduced lunch.
Looking Ahead
Looking ahead, we are planning a Senior Week on May 28-31. This will be 4 days of senior focused fun activities. There will be a separate fee for those Senior Week events that will be sent to families in semester 2.
We wanted to give you this information now. Most importantly is to get those caps and gowns ordered!
