Kara Newell

Kara Newell has been teaching overseas in Egypt, South Korea, Thailand, Iraq, Romania, and Rwanda for 12 years. She is currently getting her Master's in Globalization in Education. She loves history and is very excited to be joining Charlotte Lab School! She has led MS and HS Model United Nations. She is originally from Charlotte but grew up in Egypt and lived there for 10 years. During her free time, she enjoys watching sports (particularly rugby), reading, exploring new places, and working out.
