Lauren McGrath

I graduated from Roanoke College in 2012 with a B.A. in Spanish and minors in elementary education and Spanish k-12 education. I moved from Pennsylvania to Charlotte in 2013 and joined the early childhood education field. I worked with toddlers - PreK students before moving into administration as the assistant director then educational director (the position I held since 2020) I have a passion for education, curriculum development, and working towards equal education opportunities for all students. I am excited to be joining Charlotte Lab and to be going back to the classroom to work with students in a hands-on, engaging classroom.

 

I love spending time with my two daughters, exploring Charlotte with my family, hiking with my dogs, and attending sporting events (go Charlotte FC, Checkers, and Panthers!).
