Susan Jaffe

Ms. Jaffe is a high school math instructor with a passion for financial literacy. She previously taught at Kennedy Middle School and is excited to join the team at Charlotte Lab School. She has an undergraduate degree from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, a Masters Degree from Duke University in environmental management, and an MBA from Cornell University. In her previous life, she was an entrepreneur, a stay at home mom, a Wall Street banker and an environmental consultant, but she is thrilled to help all students discover the joy of math in everyday life.  

 

Ms. Jaffe has two grown kiddos, and loves (some say "obsesses") about dogs. She is civic minded and enjoys healthy debates about the world around us, especially when they involve numbers. She is excited to learn what passions all the students have and help them discover ones they may not have been exposed to yet.
