Mrs. Yolanda Parsons enjoys all things STEMulating - science, technology, mathematics
and even engineering! Her love of teaching and learning has extended beyond the
walls of many classrooms for over 25 years. Her enthusiasm and inspiration comes
from her very own mother and aunts who served in education to help shape the lives of
those in their communities. She has been continuing their legacy as she impacts the
pedagogy of teachers, lives of young scholars and their future endeavors.

Mrs. Parsons thrives on the time spent with her family. She married her middle school
sweetheart, Alonzo, and they were blessed with the 2 best gifts ever, their daughter,
Yona Elaye and son, Alonzo III. Outside of her family, she enjoys working with her
church youth and children, crafting and baking!
