What better way to celebrate community in the month of October than a Trunk or Treat event! Our PTSO worked with Lab parents and community partners to host our inaugural Trunk or Treat fall event.
There were over 40 trunks decorated and hosted for trick or treating. Guests were able to purchase meals from local food trucks serving up pizza and more! The local Charlotte Fire station brought their trunk out to participate, too. The event was a great way to celebrate the Lab community and host a family-friendly event centered on family, friends, and having fun!
The event DJ, who is a high school student at Lab, DJ Sweet (Zaniya), took a class with our community partner, DoGreater, and has since opened her own DJing business for parties, events, and festivals.
It's safe to say this was a new favorite event at Lab. Next year we hope to make it bigger and better!
