Stop by the PTSO table near the front office to:
- Learn about open committees and ways to get involved
- Sign up for a PTSO membership ($10/family)
- Hear about upcoming volunteer opportunities
- Pick up school supply kits if you ordered for 2nd grade, 3rd grade, or 6th–8th grade students
📚 School Supply Kits — Important Pick-Up Information
If you ordered a school supply kit for your student, please note:
- Because of the way kits were delivered for our 2nd, 3rd, and 6th-8th grade students, parents of those students should come to the PTSO table during Meet the Teacher Night on Monday and pick up their child’s kit at to bring to their student's classroom (or take it home).
- If you are unable to come on Meet the Teacher night, we will do our best to ensure your student's kit is in their homeroom by the 27th.
- For other grades, supply kits have already been delivered directly to classrooms.
🎃 Fall Festival + Trunk or Treat — Friday, October 17th 🍂We’re so excited to announce Lab’s very first Fall Festival, combined with our annual Trunk or Treat! Think games, food, music, vendors, decorated trunks, and festive fun for all ages. Save the date — this will be an evening you won’t want to miss!

Local businesses, makers, and partners are invited to host a table at the Fall Festival. Spots are limited — and as a special bonus, the first 20 vendors to apply will receive $15 off their registration fee.

Celebrate Our Lab Educators — Nominate a Teacher to Win a New AC System!
We’re excited to share a special opportunity, made even more meaningful because it comes from a Lab family business. Acosta Heating, Cooling & Electrical (owned by a Lab family), along with Lennox and K104.7 FM, have teamed up to give away a brand-new AC system—with Lennox donating the equipment and Acosta donating all time and labor for installation.
Anyone—parents, students, or colleagues—can nominate a teacher by sharing a brief story about how they’ve made an impact. Let’s celebrate the incredible educators at Lab and in our community who inspire and uplift our students every day!

This year, our goal is to make planning events a true team effort by forming Staff & Family Planning Committees for key school events. These committees will help shape the experiences that make our school so special, from dances to festivals to teacher appreciation.
Whether you have time to lead, organize behind the scenes, or simply lend a hand, your involvement makes a huge impact. You don’t need to be on the PTSO board to help—just be willing to show up and share your talents!
