Malinda Michaud

Malinda Michaud is new to Charlotte from Austin, Texas. She was born in Connecticut and grew up in South Carolina. Malinda received a bachelor’s degree from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas in Interdisciplinary Studies. At Midwestern, she also competed in olympic weightlifting and road cycling. After teaching middle school science for several years, she attended the University of Texas at Austin where she received her master’s degree in Educational Leadership with a focus on urban school leadership. Most recently Malinda has served as an Assistant Principal and she is excited to return to the classroom to her passion of teaching science.
